The 1924-S Peace Dollar is a United States silver dollar coin, minted in 1924 at the San Francisco Mint.
The obverse of the coin features the left-facing bust of Lady Liberty, the word "LIBERTY" is inscribed above her and the phrase "IN GOD WE TRVST" is inscribed below her.
The reverse features a bald eagle perched on a rock with its wings folded, holding an olive branch in its talons.
The inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE DOLLAR" are also included on the reverse. The 1924-S Peace Dollar has a total mintage of 1,728,000 coins, which is considered to be relatively low for a Peace Dollar.
